Pwani University has today, Wednesday 2nd September 2026, held its Matriculation Ceremony to formally welcome the 2026/2027 Corhort at the Main Campus. The ceremony, presided over by Vice-Chancellor Prof. James H. P. Kahindi, marks the official admission of First Year students into the University fraternity. The new students took the academic oath, committing to uphold the values of the University in pursuit of global excellence.

In his address, the Vice-Chancellor warmly welcomed the new students and urged them to embrace their new journey with purpose to learn, innovate, lead and make a difference. Pwani University congratulates all First Year students and wishes them success as they begin their academic journey.
